This life-changing program teaches you to achieve your financial goals by eliminating debt, saving for the future, and giving like never before. They will be challenged and motivated to make a plan for their money and change their family tree forever.

Financial Peace University (FPU) consists of a 13-week video curriculum—taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey—that incorporates small-group discussions to encourage accountability and discipleship. Financial Peace University is highly entertaining for everyone, with a unique combination of humor, informative financial advice and biblical messages. More than one million families have already had their lives changed by attending FPU 

First United Methodist Church will be offering the Financial Peace course with new classes beginning Jan 22, 2012 at 4 pm in the Christian Life Center (CLC).  A free preview class will be offered Sun, Jan 8th at 4:00 pm in the CLC.  Materials need to be ordered quickly so call the church office at 405.485.3579 to sign up or get more information. 

UPWARD

Providing the best sports experience for every child.

UPWARD Sports is a first-class experience that emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship, skills building and fun.  We would love to have you on our team!  1st UMC of Blanchard will be sponsoring basketball and cheerleading this winter.

Enrollment forms are available at many locations or you can register online.  Go to the "Info Center" above and click on "UPWARD Sport's Ministry."

Ages: Kindergarten (5 yrs old) thru 6th grade

Cost: $75.00 (includes uniforms and other items) ($85.00 if after Nov 15^th)

Practices will start on November 29th with Games in January and February.
